What “oz” actually means“安 / oz”到底是什么
Canvas is specified by weight — the weight of one square yard of the cloth, in ounces (oz), which the trade in China calls 安. A 12 oz canvas weighs twelve ounces per square yard. Higher number, heavier cloth, and usually thicker and stiffer. It says nothing about the fibre — a 12 oz can be pure cotton, poly-cotton or recycled — only about mass.帆布按克重下规格——即每平方码布料的重量，单位盎司（oz），行业里叫“安”。12 安帆布即每平方码重十二盎司。数字越大，布越重，通常也越厚越挺。它不说明成分——12 安可以是全棉、涤棉或再生棉——只说明克重。

What the weight changes安数改变什么
Go heavier and the bag stands up on its own, takes a screen print more cleanly and lasts longer — but it costs more per metre, is harder to sew, and adds real weight to your freight.
